The rangers at the park, in California and Nevada, took to the Death Valley Facebook page July 2 to complain about the mess from visitors seeking to discover whether they can fry eggs on the park's pavement and rocks, NBC News reported Wednesday. Advertisement "The Death Valley National Park maintenance crew has been busy cleaning up eggs cracked directly on the sidewalk, including egg cartons and shells strewn across the parking lot," the post reads. "This is your national park, please put trash in the garbage or recycle bins provided and don't crack eggs on the sidewalks, or the Salt Playa at Badwater." Park spokeswoman Cheryl Chipman said rangers have determined eggs cracked on the pavement and rocks at the park will not fry despite temperatures exceeding 120 degrees. "It's just one more thing to do with a short staff and hot temperatures," Chipman said. "It's really not appreciated."
