WILKES-BARRE, Pa., Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Pennsylvania police said they found two teens suspected of breaking into more than 50 vehicles hiding in the bed of an old coal delivery truck.

Wilkes-Barre police said Josh Kolinoski, 19 and an unidentified 16-year-old allegedly stole miscellaneous items from dozens of vehicles in four neighborhoods before an officer suspicious of two individuals riding bicycles with ski masks in the middle of the night tried to stop the pair. The Citizens' Voice of Wilkes-Barre said the two fled the officer through a backyard where they nearly fell into an in-ground pool covered by snow.

They made it through the yard, but tracks in the snow gave away their hiding spot inside the old coal truck down the block.

Police said the pair were taken into custody and still had a bag with the suspected stolen items in it.
