Imelda Marcos, wife of late Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, was more famously known for her huge collection of 2,700 pairs of shoes. Advertisement Ramon Jimenez, chief of the Department of Tourism, said the Presidential Commission on Good government has suggested displaying the Marco jewelry at the Metropolitan Museum before it is sold, the Philippines GMA News reported Wednesday. Jimenez said putting the jewelry on view might be an opportunity to draw in more tourists.
