Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe FLINT, Mich., July 4 (UPI) -- Flag sellers in Michigan said this is the first Fourth of July under a new law requiring all U.S. flags at state government buildings to be domestically made. Warren and Carol Klee, owners of Klee Manufacturing and Distributing in Flint, said Carol Klee has been hand-sewing U.S. flags for customers and they are pleased with the new law, The Detroit News reported Wednesday. Advertisement "A U.S. flag," Carol Klee said, "should be made in the U.S." Robert Dancy, a sales manager at Detroit's J.C. Goss Co., said he has been selling U.S.-made flags since the business opened 28 years ago. "Customers come to us because they know our flags are made in the U.S.," he said. "People take pride in buying quality."
