SEOUL, July 19 (UPI) -- The owner of a 39-floor high-rise complex in the South Korean capital said a 10-minute tremor felt on the higher levels of the building was caused by Tae Bo.

Prime Group, which owns the residential-commercial TechnoMart high rise in Seoul, said the 10 minutes of shaking on the top 19 floors of the 39-story building July 5 was caused by a group of 17 people performing Tae Bo exercises, a mix of boxing and taekwondo, on the 12th floor, the JooAng Daily reported Tuesday.

Park Hong-geun, a professor at Seoul National University, is helping Prime Group perform a demonstration in an attempt to duplicate the effect.

"We will install tremor detectors on several floors above the 12th, and show how vibrations could be amplified by the Tae Bo, causing tremors," he said.

"A group of experts has already carried out a series of experiments and partly proved the connection between the Tae Bo exercises and the high-rise building's shaking," Park said.
