CHICAGO, July 13 (UPI) -- The lower half of a 26-foot-tall sculpture recalling Marilyn Monroe's iconic billowing dress scene from "The Seven Year Itch" has gone on display in Chicago.

The sculpture, created by Seward Johnson on a commission from the Zeller Realty Group, was installed late Monday night at Pioneer Court in the 400 block of North Michigan Avenue, part of the city's Magnificent Mile, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Wednesday.

The visible portion of the sculpture depicts Monroe's legs, dress and panties. The top half of the sculpture is scheduled to be unveiled after 7 p.m. Friday, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Melissa Farrell, executive assistant at Zeller Realty Group, said the group's president, Paul Zeller, wants to keep the top half of the installment a "mystery" until the unveiling.

"(Zeller) likes to bring in things that cause a conversation," Farrell said. "They might be controversial, but he likes art that makes people think."
