PHILADELPHIA, April 26 (UPI) -- A Pennsylvania pretzel company said free soft pretzels were being distributed Tuesday as part of National Pretzel Day celebrations.

The Philly Pretzel Factory said it was giving a free pretzel to customers at its more than 100 locations in honor of the holiday first declared by Congress in 1983, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
