Wednesday marks National Look-alike Day

ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 20 (UPI) -- A New York state Web site said Wednesday marks National Look-alike Day, which invites participants to dress up like those they'd like to emulate.

Holidayinsights.com, based in Rochester, said the origin of National Look-alike Day is unknown. It is aimed at allowing people to dress as celebrities, friends or even their bosses, The Palm Beach (Fla.) Post reported Wednesday.

TV host George Lopez marked last year's event by inviting viewers who resemble celebrities to submit stories and photos.
