LIPAN, Texas, March 2 (UPI) -- A Texas girls' basketball coach said she gave birth after a tournament game and was back on the court the following day for the next round.

Amber Branson of Lipan said her daughter, Leslie Telese, was born at about 10 p.m. Friday after she finished coaching her team in a tournament game and she was back at court side at 2 p.m. Saturday to coach the Lipan team to a 45-41 victory, qualifying them for the state finals, KTVT-TV, Dallas/Fort Worth, reported Tuesday.

"I didn't do anything that didn't feel like I was supposed to be doing," Branson said. "And I just wanted to be with the girls. During the game I was fine as long as I was standing. I think emotion and adrenaline and everything else kept me going."

"I don't think it's anything special," Branson said. "I mean, obviously some do because y'all are here. But it's just part of my job and I was just happy to be a part of it."
