WASHINGTON, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- A Sarah Palin impersonator was a popular draw Friday outside the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, Politico reported.

Sporting a red suit and glasses just like the former Alaskan governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, Patty Lyons showed up in the hotel lobby as former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was about to deliver a speech, the Washington publication said.

"I'm here for CPAC," a young GOP activist quoted Lyons as saying. "Plus I heard they had some good mooseburgers."

Politico said while Lyons' physical appearance was dead-on Palin, the voice was not so much. But dozens of CPAC attendees still pressed in close with cameras and cellphones to snap a shot.
