BOULDER, Colo., Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Colorado wildlife officials blasted country music to drive away a bear found hibernating in a Boulder cottage crawlspace, the property's owner said.

Rich Sheehan, a spokesman for Boulder Community Hospital, which owns the cottage, said a plumber discovered the bear recently while checking on some frozen pipes, KMGH-TV, Denver, reported Wednesday.

Sheehan said state wildlife officials used a boom box to blast country music into the crawlspace and the bear was gone the following day.

The spokesman said the officials put a cover on the crawlspace to prevent the bear from reclaiming the real estate.
