Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe CINCINNATI, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- An Ohio woman whose family discovered a briefcase full of World War II memorabilia at Washington's Lincoln Memorial in 1990 said she has tracked down the owner. Amanda Parker-Wolery of Hamilton County's Columbia Township said she was 8 when her family found the briefcase filled with maps, photos and old love letters at the Lincoln Memorial and they tried for more than a year to find the owners, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported Thursday. Advertisement Parker-Wolery said she found the case during the weekend in a shed at her father's Mayville, N.Y., home and decided to take another crack at finding the owners, this time with the help of the Internet. She said less than an hour of Internet searching found Deborah Dean, 57, of Texas, whose father, Gerald Amirault, was the case's original owner. Dean said the briefcase was stolen from her family's car in Washington in 1990, the year after her father's death, and she never expected to see it again. "I am just ecstatic," Dean said. "I can't wait to get it back."
