Orszag, who is leaving his post soon, had just finished a speech at the Brookings Institution in Washington and had started taking questions when a man who identified himself as Rick Lopez, instead of posing a query, said he was "inspired by bean-counters who are willing to come out and impose really brutal austerity, and ... it's gonna butcher the poor ... " Advertisement Lopez then started singing to the classical tune "Funiculi, Funicula," The (Washington) Daily Caller reported Wednesday. Some of Lopez's lyrics included: "Peter Orszag and [Director of the White House National Economic Council] Larry Summers, they're fascist pigs "They're fascist pigs "They say healthcare's a burden on the budget "It's [expletive,] it's [expletive] "We spend $22 trillion on Wall Street, on Wall Street "And now, they cut it out of freakin' healthcare, "It will kill you, it will kill you, it will kill you, it will kill you "Obama's healthcare plan is Hitler approved" Lopez's mic was cut off but he kept singing anyway and Orszag joked that he had "clearly chose the wrong person" to ask a question. He then quipped to the next person "all questions must be in song." Advertisement Lopez claimed to work for LPAC, the political action committee founded by Lyndon Larouche, a political activist who has run for president several times. LPAC confirmed Lopez is a volunteer organizer with the committee, the Caller said.
