TROY, Ala., July 8 (UPI) -- Authorities in Alabama said they arrested a man who allegedly concealed marijuana in a Chinese food container and attempted to smuggle it into a jail.

A jail worker searched through the rice and shrimp with a fork and discovered the bag of marijuana, the sheriff's office said.

Ridley was charged with felony promoting prison contraband, which bears a prison sentence of 1 to 10 years. He was held in lieu of $7,500 bond.
