NORRISTOWN, Pa., March 7 (UPI) -- A supervisor at a 911 center in the Philadelphia suburbs was fired after officials discovered racy photos from an on-the-job holiday party posted on the Web.

The snapshots on MySpace show 911 operators posing with sex toys, beer and other alcoholic drinks, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported. They allegedly were taken Dec. 23 at the Montgomery County 911 center.

"This behavior was unbelievably stupid," said James Matthews, chairman of the county commissioners. "And doing it in front of a camera multiplies the stupidity."

Officials have found no evidence of bungled calls the night of the party. They said that the average response time was a normal 5 seconds and the longest a caller had to wait was 13 seconds.

But they plan to screen the tapes from that night call by call.

Other operators who participated in the fun and games could face suspensions or reprimands.
