A former high school basketball player, Kevin Nee of Chandler said he decided to switch his focus and overall lifestyle to become a professional strongman after winning a teen strongman competition, The Arizona Republic reported Sunday. Advertisement But becoming a strongman means adjusting one's life accordingly, from your weightlifting regimen to your eating habits. "When I wake up in the morning, I don't eat because I am hungry. I eat because I have to eat," Nee said. "You wake up in the middle of the night, and all you want to do is go back to sleep. But you get up to have that protein shake." But such changes are apparently not enough to dissuade the 6-foot-1, 275-pounder from preparing from this week's annual World's Strongest Man competition. "Think about it," Nee, who can lift 865 pounds off the ground, told the Republic. "You are the strongest man on the planet."
