The Ostel guesthouse, which is decorated in the fashion of the German Democratic Republic, offers city tours in East German-made Trabant cars and, for $78, visitors can spend the night in the "Stasi-suite," which is outfitted with bugging devices similar to those once used by the East German secret police, Deutsche Welle reported Friday. Ostel notes that while the style of the building is retro, the mattresses and plumbing are entirely modern.
