CHICAGO, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Chicago police have recovered a stolen tractor-trailer full of asparagus and are looking for three more missing trailers.

Thieves broke into a fenced-in parking lot owned by a shipping company on the South Side and stole four trailers full of perishable goods. The other trailers, which were loaded with packaged cookies and fungicide powder, remain missing, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

The thieves allegedly brought their own trucks and broke down a fence surrounding the trailers before escaping with the goods.

"It's pretty calculated," said police spokeswoman Monique Bond.

Officers do not believe that this incident is related to a frozen broccoli theft in suburban Chicago in December. The trailer still full of asparagus was found in suburban Dixmoor, Ill., the Sun-Times reported. No one has been arrested.
