MOUNT HOLLY, N.J., Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Voters in Mount Holly, N.J. may have to rely on party affiliation to distinguish between two candidates vying to represent them in Congress.

The reason for the problem is that the candidates' last names are different by only a single letter, CBS News reported. Eleven-term Republican Rep. Jim Saxton is seeking re-election against Democratic challenger Richard Sexton.

It turns out the similarity is causing confusion as well as an opportunity for comedy as recently pointed out by news pundit Stephen Colbert on his Comedy Central show.

Unfortunately, the matter is not funny to incumbent Saxton's campaign that has printed signs emphasizing the "A" in Saxton's name to remind voters of the difference.
