STROUD, England, April 14 (UPI) -- A trip to a bowling alley ended in horror for a 3-year-old English girl when she got stuck on a toilet seat vandals had smeared with super glue.

Annabel Richmond, the tot's mother, told The Sun she was especially angry that the glue had been smeared in a bathroom for the handicapped. She used it for her daughter because she needed space for a stroller.

"Lucy started howling," Richmond said. "I tried to lift her, but couldn't. She kept on screaming. I carried on pulling without realizing there was glue on the seat and she screamed more. I got her off just before the glue locked."

Richmond had taken Lucy and her 6-year-old son to the Bowling International alley in Stroud, Gloucestershire, for a holiday treat.

Lucy was examined at a hospital and given a clean bill of health. But the incident left her with bruised legs.

Richard Cave, manager of the alley, told Sky News employees are examining security camera tapes to see if they can determine who sabotaged the toilet seat.
