NEW YORK, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Officials ordered fortune cookies with pro-Brooklyn messages, but guests at a New York fundraiser found X-rated predictions inside them instead.

Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz told Friday's New York Daily News the fortunes inside the cookies at Ming Gee restaurant were "Triple-X."

Markowitz had gathered donors to the Ming Gee for a Tuesday night fundraiser to help send children to summer camp.

Ming Gee owner Larance Yeung apologized for the dirty fortunes supplied by the Dai Hing Lee Corp., located right next door.

"I can easily speculate that those cookies were intended for some guy's bachelor party," American Media President Kenneth Hochman, a guest at the dinner, told the Daily News.

No big deal, another guest said.

"If it happened at an uptown Chinese restaurant on the upper East Side, it would have been a travesty," he added. "But this is Brooklyn. We shake it off."
