Pizza Today, the trade magazine associated with the National Association of Pizzeria Owners, also reported that it's expected that more than $50 million will be spent on food during Super Bowl weekend. Advertisement As the football teams prepared for the bg game, restaurants, stores and pizzerias have also been preparing -- many pizzerias do double or triple that regular weekend business on Super Bowl Sunday, the Albany (N.Y.) Time Union reported Sunday. Brian Kovelman's restaurant in Albany specializes in chicken wings and pizza and he's been strategizing for the big day -- with his own playbook for staffing and supplies. "Everyone wants the same thing. They want 50 wings delivered to their house at kickoff," he said. "That's impossible."
