RIDGEFIELD, Wash., Aug. 18 (UPI) -- There were only a couple of minor injuries reported when a wild bull rampaged through Ted Nugent's rock show at a county fair in Washington state.

"We had a running of the bull," Clark County Fair Manager Thomas Musser, told Pollstar Thursday.

He said fans roared as the animal ran through the crowd of approximately 9,000 last week.

The bull was being loaded from an exhibit near the grandstand when it bolted through a 6-foot fence cordoning off the performance area. One employee who tried to stop the animal suffered a dislocated shoulder and a woman cut her head when she was knocked down by the bull.

It was captured behind the stage by a participant in the fair's bull riding competition, Musser said.

The animal was probably lucky Nugent was otherwise occupied -- earlier in the day the avid bowhunter was signing copies of his cookbook, "Kill It & Grill It," Pollstar said.
