Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe VALPARAISO, Ind., Aug. 9 (UPI) -- A burglar used a state identification card to break into a Porter County, Ind., garage and broke off a piece that led police straight to the card's owner. The broken piece of the Indiana identification card found at the burglary scene contained a Social Security number. Advertisement "This is not a Phi Beta Kappa person we're dealing with here," Sheriff's Police Chief Deputy David Lain told the Gary (Ind.) Post-Tribune. While the garage was entered, the homeowner said it appeared nothing had been taken. Police said they were unable to immediately find the card's owner for questioning.
