Potato resembling Australian PM auctioned

SYDNEY, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- An Australian man is auctioning on eBay a potato he says resembles Prime Minister John Howard.

However, alterations to the potato -- glasses and a face -- made by the owner using a blue pen might keep the bidding low, reported the Sydney Daily Telegraph Sunday.

So far, with four days left for bidding, there are six bids and the last is for almost $3.

The owner said he saved the potato from a batch of sausage and mashed potato.
