CLEVELAND, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- High winds knocked down Cleveland's 50-foot Christmas tree in the center of the city, WEWS-TV reported Wednesday.

Crews were starting to clear away debris in the city's Public Square after the tree toppled during a wind storm that knocked out power to 20,000 residents and caused damage elsewhere in the area.
