CHESNEY SAYS 'SEX SYMBOL' STATUS HELPS

"No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" has been a mammoth success for Kenny Chesney.

No kidding: The album debuted at No. 1 on the multi-genre Billboard 200 and is No. 25 after 17 weeks; it's No. 3 on Billboard's country album chart; and "The Good Stuff" has topped the singles chart for seven weeks.

Chesney believes the sex-symbol status that comes with being a big-time entertainer has something to do with his success.

He tells Launch.com he's "redefined" how he looks and reduced his body fat from 19 percent to 9 percent, but believes some of his songs carry a message that may make women see him as sexy.

PAISLEY ALBUM GOES PLATINUM

Brad Paisley's second album, "Part II," has reached the million-shipment mark, which means it has been certified platinum by the recording industry.

Paisley's 1999 debut album, "Who Needs Pictures," made platinum in 2001.

HANK JR. CAN COOK, TOO

Hank Williams Jr. is the first country artist to ever win an Emmy -- he's won four for his Monday Night Football intros and promos -- and has numerous other awards to his credit.

And this country legend with the powerful voice and king-sized presence can cook, too.

Hank Jr.'s work in the kitchen is not as well-known as his other accomplishments, but he's sharing his favorite recipes in "Hey, Good Cookin'!", a collection of "down home country" dishes that he "threw together."

Examples of Hank Jr.'s favorites: "Super Bowl Salad," "Monday Night Cheese Ball," "Chicken A-La-Hank," "Mary Jane's Potato Pie," and "Merle Kilgore's Wolverton Mountain Sweeter Than Honey Kisses." It's $4 and available on his Web site -- hankjr.com.
