Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Capcom announced Monday that another entry in its classic side-scrolling action series Mega Man is in development and will release in late 2018.
Mega Man 11 will be released for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC and will arrive in time to mark the 30th anniversary of the long-running series.
A gameplay trailer released for Mega Man 11 features the iconic Blue Bomber jumping to reach various platforms and shooting down new enemy types.
The footage displayed the title's new art style that places 3D visuals onto a 2D plane for a new animated and detailed look.
Mega Man 11 will be the first Mega Man game released since 2010's Mega Man 10.
Capcom also announced that Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 will be coming to the Switch soon along with Mega Man X games for the Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC in summer 2018.
