The preview shows the Umbrella Academy return to the present after the events of Season 2, where they discover they inadvertently created a time paradox where Sir Reginald Hargreeves adopted seven other siblings and created the Sparrow Academy.

"Now all they need to do is convince Dad's new and possibly better family to help them put right what their arrival made wrong," an official logline reads. "Will they find a way back to their pre-apocalyptic lives? Or is this new world about to reveal more than just a hiccup in the timeline?"

The trailer ends with a look at the alternate timeline's version of Pogo, the chimpanzee who was Reginald's assistant.

Netflix shared first-look photos for the season featuring the Sparrows earlier this month.

The Umbrella Academy is based on the Gerard Way comic book series of the same name. The TV series is created by Steve Blackman and follows a dysfunctional family of superhero siblings.

Season 3 will premiere June 22 on Netflix.
