Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Netflix is giving a glimpse of You Season 3.

The streaming service shared new photos for the season Monday featuring Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg, a serial killer and former New York bookstore manager.

Season 3 will follow Joe (Badgley) and his wife, fellow killer Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), as they move to the suburbs of Northern California with their infant son, Henry. Joe resolves to change and be a good father but develops an obsession with their new neighbor, Natalie (Michaela McManus).

The tense new photos show Love (Pedretti) sharpening a knife with a stricken expression on her face and Joe gazing at something from his car. They also introduce new characters, including Matthew Engler (Scott Speedman), Natalie's husband.

Netflix released a trailer for the season last week that shows Joe's obsession with Natalie cause deadly conflict in his marriage to Love.

You is based on the Caroline Kepnes novels You, Hidden Bodies and You Love Me. Showrunner Sera Gamble and series creator Greg Berlanti will return as executive producers in Season 3.

Season 3 premieres Oct. 15 on Netflix.
