Netflix cancels 'Hit & Run' after one season

Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Crime drama Hit & Run, starring Lior Raz, has been canceled by Netflix after one season.

Raz stars as Segev who is searching for answers after his wife dies in a mysterious hit and run accident in Tel Aviv.

Segev enlists the help of ex-lover Naomi, portrayed by Sanaa Lathan, in his quest for the truth. The duo then discover dark secrets about Segev's wife.

Co-stars include Kaelen Ohm, Moran Rosenblatt, Gregg Henry and Gal Toren.

Hit & Run hails from creators Raz and Avi Issacharoff of Fauda fame along with co-showrunners Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin.

Season 1 came to Netflix in August and ended its nine-episode first season on a cliffhanger.

Hit & Run reached Netflix's Top 10 list after its debut. It also made the Nielsen Top 10 original streaming shows list for three weeks.
