Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro said his right hand is 95% healed while appearing on the Rachael Ray Show on Monday.

Valastro injured his hand and was hospitalized in September 2020 after his right hand got caught in a pin setting machine at his home bowling alley.

"The fact that I'm able to still do what I love, it was amazing," Valastro told Ray about the injury while decorating a cake.

"I'd say we're about 95, which if that's as good as it's going to get Rachel, I'll take it," he continued when Ray asked if his hands were 100% healed.

Valastro also stars in Food Network's Buddy vs. Duff.

"Doing that last season of Buddy vs. Duff, it was amazing because of the fact that I could still do it," Valastro said.
