'Atypical' Season 4 trailer teases 'new beginnings' for Sam, Casey

June 14 (UPI) -- Netflix is giving a glimpse of Atypical Season 4.

The streaming service shared a trailer for the season Monday featuring Keir Gilchrist as Sam Gardner, a young man on the autism spectrum.

The preview teases "new beginnings" for Sam (Gardner), his sister, Casey (Brigette Lundy-Paine) and other characters. Sam is seen moving in with his friend Zahid (Nik Dodani), facing academic probation, and contemplating his future after college.

Meanwhile, Casey (Lundy-Paine) navigates her relationship with Izzie (Fivel Stewart) and her mom Elsa's (Jennifer Jason Leigh) reaction to her coming out.

Michael Rapaport co-stars as Sam and Casey's father, Doug. The series also features Graham Rogers and Jenny Boyd.

Atypical is created by Robia Rashid. The series will return for a fourth and final season July 9 on Netflix.
