June 2 (UPI) -- Game Show Network announced Wednesday that it has renewed People Puzzler for a second season. Leah Remini hosts the game show. People Puzzler is a crossword puzzle game based on the puzzles from People Magazine. Three contestants compete for points by solving pop culture questions in a crossword puzzle. The player with the most points gets to compete for cash prizes in the Fast Puzzle Bonus Round.

The half hour game premiered Jan. 21 this year. Season 2 will premiere this fall.
As an actor, Remini starred on the sitcoms The King of Queens and Kevin Can Wait and in the movies Old School, Second Act and more. Remini also hosted and produced the docuseries Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath for A&E, based on her own experience with the religion.
Meredith Corporation, the publisher of People Magazine, and Start Entertainment, LLC produce People Puzzler for Game Show Network. Scott St. John, Neal Konstantini, Dan Wakeford, Rachel Feinberg and Rane Laymance are executive producers.
