Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Season 6 of the police sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is to debut Jan. 10 on NBC. Fox announced it had canceled the show in May, but NBC picked it up a few days later.
Returning to the series in its new home are Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, Andre Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Melissa Fumero and Joe Lo Truglio. Chelsea Peretti is expected to leave partway through the season to star in another show.
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine Twitter feed posted a brief video of Fumero's character Amy interviewing a man in a police station interrogation room while Samberg's Jake watches through and bangs on a two-way mirror, which shatters.
"Ask him about the #Brooklyn99 premiere date. ASK HIM ABOUT THE #BROOKLYN99 PREMIERE DATE," the clip was captioned.
