May 14 (UPI) -- Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro is working on a new horror anthology series called 10 After Midnight for Netflix. This marks the Shape of Water auteur's first live-action series. He also created the animated series Trollhunters for the streaming service.

His live-action films include Crimson Peak, Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy.
"Creator and executive producer del Toro will bring his own visionary style as both a writer and director to certain episodes," a news release announcing his latest project said. "In addition, he will hand pick a team of the genre's best writers and exciting new filmmakers to bring his selection of stories to life."
No casting has been announced.
