July 6 (UPI) -- Christina El Moussa got close to her new beau while celebrating the Fourth of July this week. The 33-year-old television personality cozied up to businessman Doug Spedding on her boat Tuesday in Newport Beach, Calif., according to E! News.

El Moussa was all smiles in a striped bikini as she enjoyed the sunny afternoon with Spedding. The star was seen reclining in Spedding's arms on the bow of the boat, and also gazing up into the businessman's eyes.
"It's new. They've been talking and seeing each other for a couple weeks," a source told Entertainment Tonight in June.
"Christina and him recently reconnected," the insider added, explaining El Moussa and Spedding have known each other for 10 years. "She dated him before her and Tarek were together."
El Moussa announced her split from Tarek El Moussa, her husband and Flip or Flop co-star, in December after seven years of marriage. The pair confirmed in April that they will continue to star on the HGTV series.
"Tarek and I have been working together for a long time, and we look forward to continuing to work together on Flip or Flop," El Moussa said in a statement.
"From the beginning, HGTV has shown Christina and me tremendous support, and we are excited to go out there and flip many more houses for Flip or Flop," Tarek added.
El Moussa and Tarek share 6-year-old daughter Taylor and 22-month-old son Brayden.
