June 14 (UPI) -- Randy Orton finally got some revenge on WWE Champion Jinder Mahal Tuesday on Smackdown Live after weeks of taunting by The Modern-Day Maharaja.

The confrontation between the two rivals began as Mahal alongside The Singh Brothers, spoke of how he was going to tear down Orton's legacy Sunday inside his hometown of St. Louis.

Once the champion began speaking in his native language of Punjabi, Orton's music hit which served as a distraction to The Singh Brothers who left the ring. Then, with Mahal alone, The Viper sneaked into the ring from behind and landed a thundering RKO out of nowhere.

With Mahal out cold, Orton left the ring and celebrated with the fans in attendance. Mahal defends his WWE Championship against Orton Sunday at Money in the Bank.

Also on Smackdown, Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles and Sami Zayn teamed up to take on United States Champion Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin before all six competitors meet Sunday for a chance to claim the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Zayn won the match for his team after striking Corbin with a Helluva Kick, however, the real fireworks began after the three count when Owens and Ziggler began to assault their opponents together using a ladder.

It was then Corbin who emerged to take out The Showoff and the self-proclaimed The New Face of America as he set up the ladder to grab a mock Money in the Bank briefcase that was hanging above the ring.

As The Lone Wolf ascended the ladder, he was met by Nakamura who brought Corbin down to the ring and delivered a Kinshasa. This allowed The King of Strong Style to climb the ladder himself and claim the briefcase. Whomever obtains the Money in the Bank briefcase Sunday is guaranteed a WWE championship match at any time.

Other moments from Smackdown included The New Day and Breezango defeating The Usos and The Colons, Zack Ryder returning from injury to greet his tag team partner Mojo Rawley, Smackdown Women's Champion Naomi defeating Tamina and Charlotte Flair defeating Natalya.
