'Ghosted': Adam Scott, Craig Robinson explore the paranormal in first trailer

May 17 (UPI) -- Adam Scott and Craig Robinson solve paranormal mysteries in the first trailer for Fox's upcoming comedy Ghosted.

The clip, released Monday, features Robinson as a skeptic and Scott as a true-believer as they are plucked from their everyday jobs by the mysterious Bureau Underground.

The organization explains to the duo that the fate of the entire planet may rest in their hands as they are sent to look into a number of paranormal activity happening in Los Angeles.

"This heroic group of underdogs will look into 'unexplained' activity in Los Angeles that often leads them to scary, thrilling, and hilarious places, as they attempt to uncover the truth and keep the Earth rotating on its axis for at least one more day," reads the synopsis.

The cast also includes Ally Walker as a Bureau Underground captain and Adeel Akhtar as a forensic pathologist.

Ghosted is set to air Sunday's on Fox starting this fall.
