"Major Crimes centers on a special squad within the LAPD that deals with high-profile or particularly sensitive crimes," press notes said. "Led by Captain Sharon Raydor, the squad includes Lieutenant Provenza, Lieutenant Andy Flynn, Lieutenant Michael Tao, Detective Julio Sanchez, tech expert and reserve officer Buzz Watson and Detective Amy Sykes. Collaborating on many of their cases is medical examiner Dr. Morales."

The sixth season of the show, which debuted in 2012, will air later this year.
