Jason Momoa plays 18th century outlaw in trailer for new Netflix series 'Frontier'

BEVERLY HILLS , Calif., Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Game of Thrones alum Jason Momoa can once again be seen battling foes in the trailer for his new series Frontier.

The clip has gotten nearly 300,000 views since it was posted on YouTube Friday.

"Jason Momoa stars as Declan Harp, a part-Irish, part-native American outlaw campaigning to breach the fur trade," reads the synopsis accompanying the video.

Co-starring Alun Armstrong, Allan Hawco, Landon Liboiron, Greg Bryk, Shawn Doyle, Tantoo Cardinal and Jessica Matten, the 18th century-set, historical drama is to debut on Netflix Jan. 20. It has already been renewed for a second season.
