LOS ANGELES, Dec. 25 (UPI) -- Netflix says it has ordered a third season of its sitcom sequel Fuller House.

"Holiday wishes, answered. Fuller House Season 3, coming 2017," the show tweeted Saturday.

The message goes along with a 28-second clip showing cast members Candace Cameron Bure, Dave Collier, Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin, John Stamos and Andrea Barber passing a wrapped present until it ends up in the hands of Jodi Sweetin.

The show's theme song plays in the background as Sweetin turns the box over, revealing the words: "Fuller House. Season 3. Coming Soon."

The series is a followup to Full House, which featured most of the same cast and ran 1987-95.
