'Supernatural' actress Felicia Day expecting first child

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Supernatural actress Felicia Day is going to be a first-time mom.

The 37-year-old star announced in a Facebook post just weeks before her due date that she's pregnant and expecting a baby girl.

"She's coming in about three weeks so I guess I should announce this and stuff," she captioned a photo of her baby bump Tuesday.

Day's Supernatural co-stars Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins were among those to offer their congratulations online. Day plays Charlie Bradbury on The CW series, while Padalecki and Collins portray Sam Winchester and Castiel, respectively.

"WOOHOO!!! Do you think she'll like older men?!?! (My sons. Not me... Creepo.) #CONGRATS," Padalecki joked.

"Congrats on creating a tiny human, @FeliciaDay! (If you need a sitter, you know my number.)," Collins wrote.

Day is also known for her web series The Guild and for playing Vi on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She will next star on the Netflix revival of Mystery Science Theater 3000, which is slated to premiere in early 2017.
