This weekend's 50-second preview clip for the upcoming season introduced audiences to the doctor's new companion, Bill, who is played with wonder and enthusiasm by actress Pearl Mackie.

"I'm Bill. I serve chips. He's a professor. Or a lecturer. Or as I call him, 'Doctor What.' And now we go EVERYWHERE," the character says in the action-packed video, which can be viewed on social media.
