LOS ANGELES, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Laverne Cox channels Nicki Minaj in a preview clip for Wednesday's episode of Spike's hit music competition series, Lip Sync Battle. The video, released Tuesday, features Cox in black shorts and a sheer tank top as she mouth's the words to Minaj's 2010 rap anthem "Roman's Revenge."

As Cox let's off a fierce kick to the air, co-host Chrissy Teigen looks shocked, impressed by the physical performance.
The actress known for her role as Sophia Burset on Orange is the New Black, is battling her co-star from the hit Netflix series Samira Wiley who portrays Poussey Washington.
Wiley herself will be performing Naughty by Nature's "O.P.P." when the two battle Wednesday at 9/8c on Spike.
