Kristen Bell shares 'disastrous' childhood haircut on 'Late Late Show'

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Kristen Bell has revealed an embarrassing mullet haircut she had as a child while appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

"My mother made sure that I would not take any flack from anybody because she gave me a real sort of disastrous kind of haircut," the actress explained to Corden about the unfortunate hairdo that was given to her while she played on a boys baseball team.

The late night host then presented a blown-up image of the haircut much to the audiences delight.

"What she did to make sure I fit in with the boys was took the bangs past the ear, past the forehead, past the ear all the way down to the back, which I believe we now call a mullet," the Bad Moms star explained. "I never had any problems because everyone thought I was one of the little boys."

"She basically made you look like the kid from Jerry Maguire, joked Corden.

The Late Late Show appearance for Bell comes after the 36-year-old stopped by Ellen where she auditioned for a spot on the Spice Girls.
