NEW YORK, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Luann de Lesseps says Real Housewives of New York co-star Bethenny Frankel doesn't approve of her impending marriage.

The 51-year-old reality star addressed her feud with Frankel, 45, on Tuesday's episode of Watch What Happens Live after revealing that her engagement to Tom D'Agostino, Jr., is still on.

"It makes me sad that she's so angry with me for no apparent reason, except that, you know, I'm getting married too quick for her taste," de Lesseps said. "I don't understand why she's been so angry from the very beginning."

"I hope that we can have a friendship again at some point," she added. "She said a lot of horrible things to me, [but] I'm happy. I wake up happy every day. I hope the same happiness for her. I'm getting married; she's in a relationship -- move on."

De Lesseps had recently confirmed she is moving forward with D'Agostino, who kissed another woman the night before the couple's engagement party. Frankel had given the bride-to-be photographic proof of the infidelity.

"I'm not going to let a stupid kiss ruin the rest of my life," de Lesseps told People in August. "He screwed up. What he did was wrong. But this wasn't premeditated. It wasn't an affair. It was a mistake."

Frankel later said on WWHL that she felt de Lesseps took a "shoot the messenger" approach to D'Agostino cheating. De Lesseps had demanded on the RHONY Season 8 finale that Frankel stay out of her business.
