LONDON, June 1 (UPI) -- Arrow star Willa Holland believes that Warner Bros. and DC Comics should combine their television and film universes.

"It's a little upsetting because you know it is possible and it can be done and how good it would be if it was done," the actress said to The Mirror during the MCM Comic Con in London comparing how Marvel keeps their shows within their cinematic universe.

Holland even noted how Warner Bros. requested Arrow to remove the villain focused Suicide Squad from their show after the film version was greenlit.

"When DC found out they were going to be doing their own movie we had to axe all of the characters before we even got to show them, she said. "Once they said no, you can't really fight against them for it, because they are the people that gave us a job in the first place. You just have to sit there on your hands, like okay, I get it!"

Currently the CW is home to four DC Comics series' featuring their staple of comic book heroes including Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and the recently announced Supergirl which is moving over to the network from CBS.

According to Holland, she finds it unfair that stars Stephen Amell who portrays Green Arrow and Grant Gustin who appears as The Flash will not be reprising their roles in DC's upcoming film slate which includes next year's Justice League: Part One. In the film version, actor Ezra Miller will be seen as the scarlet speedster.

"Basically you're giving the world two different Flashes all of a sudden," Holland said.

While Holland's comments echo some fans wishes for Gustin to star as the Flash on the big screen, Justice League director Zack Snyder explained in March why he wasn't viewed as a "good fit" for the film version of the character.

"I'm very strict with this universe and I just don't see a version where...that (tone is) not our world," he said comparing to how the CW's television universe features more lighthearted fair than what Snyder has done on the cinematic side in Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
