Fred Armisen to guest host 'Saturday Night Live' on May 21

NEW YORK, May 5 (UPI) -- Saturday Night Live alum Fred Armisen is to return to the sketch-comedy show as guest host of the Season 41 finale on May 21, NBC announced.

Armisen was an SNL cast member for 11 seasons, leaving in 2013.

He has since been seen in the critically acclaimed comedy series Portlandia.

Courtney Barnett is to provide the musical entertainment for the May 21 episode of SNL.
