Jill and Jessa Duggar to star in new TLC series

TONTITOWN, Ark., Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar will star on new TLC series Jill & Jessa: Counting On.

The 24-year-old reality star and her 23-year-old sister previously appeared on a three-part TLC special of the same name, and will return on the new show on Tuesday, March 15.

"Jill and Jessa: Counting On returns to TLC to follow the lives of the older children as they celebrate some of life's milestone moments, including big moves, the realities of growing up and raising their own families," the network announced this week.

A preview for the series sees Jessa care for 3-month-old son Spurgeon and hint at adopting a second child. Jill, meanwhile, is seen with husband Derick Dillard and 10-month-old son Israel as they continue their mission work in Central America.

Jill and Jessa's siblings Jana, Jinger, Joy Anna, John David, Josiah and Joseph will also appear on the show. Their parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, have 11 additional children, the youngest of which, Josie, turned 6 in December.

The Duggar family came to fame on 19 Kids & Counting, which was canceled in the wake of eldest child Josh Duggar's sex abuse scandal. The 27-year-old admitted to molesting five girls, including two of his sisters, and later confessed to cheating on wife Anna Duggar.

"We really were able to draw closer together," Jessa says in the preview. "We've shared this journey with the world ... Family is everything."

Josh entered a long-term rehab facility after confessing his infidelity and is not expected to appear on the new series. His cousin, Amy Duggar, compared him to "a roller coaster that went off track" this month, telling People, "I hope he's getting help."
